The premiere took place in Tortosa, Spain, located near Barcelona, on Saturday, April 5th. The work consists of four movements based on melodies created setting the poetry of David Cameron. The movements are individually titled, 1. Sometimes the Summer, 2. For Winter, 3. A Blessing and 4. Gifts.
The Swan Ensemble will also come to Ontario in June. They will give the work its Canadian premiere on June 16th at the Aurora Cultural Centre in the Davide De Simone Performance Hall.
