On January 15th, 2026, at the Canadian Music Centre in Toronto, there was a performance of new works for violin and piano, featuring CMC Artists in Residence, David Jaeger, C.M. (composer), Rea Beaumont (piano) and Christopher Verrette (violin).
Two recent works by Jaeger received their world premieres: Suite for Violin and Piano and Caprice no. 1 for solo violin, based on a poem by David Cameron: Home at Teatime, performed by Christopher Verrette.
